Carl Friedrich Gauß
The 23.2.2005 was the 150th anniversary of Carl Friedrich Gauß's death. Gauß the scientist lived and worked for 50 years in Göttingen. He caused a worldwide sensation with his research that still impacts today. The Georg-August-University, the city Göttingen and the Göttinger Gauß-Gesellschaft organised together the GAUSS YEAR 2005.City Guided Tours with the following themes are offered:
